Effective August 17, 2024, the Oklahoma City MLS has implemented a new regulation from the National Association of REALTORS® mandating a written Buyer Agency agreement before showing any properties. The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission’s (OREC) Buyer’s Agreement, which mirrors the Listing Agreement in its structure, is designed to enhance transparency regarding the services provided by the Buyer’s Agent and as such how the Buyer's Agent is compensated.

The first step towards a successful Buyer/Broker relationship is an obligation-free consultation. This meeting, held at our office, The Agency, in downtown Edmond, typically lasts about an hour. During this consultation, you will have the opportunity to meet key team members, including Liz Hagan, our transaction coordinator. We will discuss our services, clarify how our compensation is structured, and outline our negotiation strategies to ensure the best possible outcome for your home purchase.

We recognize that moving can be a stressful experience, and our goal is to make the process as smooth as possible. Your Buyer’s Agent is here to simplify your decision-making and provide support throughout your home-buying journey.

Execute a Buyer Broker Agreement & Begin Showing!

At this stage, we formalize our partnership through a written agreement that authorizes us to act on your behalf as your agents. Kasey and Jordan Reyes are committed to providing exceptional service and flexibility, and we take this responsibility very seriously. To ensure the highest level of service, we limit our practice to a maximum of three Buyer Broker Agreements at any given time.

Given our commitment to providing personalized attention, our agent agreements are set for a duration of six months. Once we successfully execute your contract and transition you to our compliance specialist, Liz Hagan, we will be able to take on new clients.

Liz plays a crucial role in our team, managing the administrative aspects of the process from contract to closing. This allows us to focus on showing homes and working directly with you, enhancing both your experience and our efficiency.

Upon closing, we will be present for the final walk-through and closing to ensure that your purchase is completed smoothly and to your satisfaction. 

Once your transaction is finalized and you’ve settled into your new home, we will continue to support you by providing quarterly market updates. This allows you to stay informed about your home’s value and track your growing equity. Should you consider selling and purchasing again in the future, we hope you will consider entrusting us with that process as well.
